Automata is a small-scale infographic book exploring early robotics into the modern day. It takes a curious approach to the history of our electronic friends––from robots that bring us knowledge, like the Hubble Space Telescope, to those that delight us on-screen and in books, like C3PO and Astroboy. It even dives into the development of early artificial intelligence (which means, maybe, it’s time for an updated edition!).
Automata was written and designed by Claire Tomkiw and finished as a hardcover, perfect-bound book.
